Questions advocates ask
Are the case citations real?
Yes. VakilDraft only cites judgments from its own library of reported cases from the Supreme Court and the Patna and Jharkhand High Courts, and quotes the held paragraph word for word, with the citation in reporter form. A draft is still a first draft: read every authority before you file.
Will the draft follow my court's format?
The Word file follows the layout of petitions filed at the Patna High Court and Bihar district courts: cause title, numbered “That…” paragraphs, annexure marking, prayer, affidavit and index, in Times New Roman on legal spacing. You can edit everything in Word before filing.
Can I draft in Hindi?
Yes. Hindi drafts are written in court Hindi, with the heading, party details, prayer and affidavit in Hindi. Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Gujarati are in beta and clearly marked, so check them carefully.
Is my clients' information private?
Your matters are visible only to your account, and to interns only for the cases you send them. The AI provider that prepares the text does not use it to train its models. Read the Privacy Policy.
What does the Free plan include?
Every draft type, 500 words of drafting a day, and a case diary for up to 10 open cases. No card is needed. Move to a paid plan only when you need more.
How do I pay, and how do I cancel?
Pay by UPI or card for a month, a quarter or a year. There is no auto-debit, so there is nothing to cancel: simply do not renew. See the Refunds & Cancellation policy.
Can my juniors or interns use my account?
Yes. Give them their own login from your account. The Advocate plan includes one, Chamber includes three, and each sees only the cases you send them.
Do I need to install anything?
No. VakilDraft works in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer.
